A dirt bike or an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) is designed to travel off road. In fact, it is a lightweight motorcycle with tires and rugged suspension In other words, can be called a 2 or 4 wheel off-road motorcycle. Now is common to see young people who are seven to eight years assembling mountain bikes and all terrain expertly and with ease. However, injuries caused by dirt ATV and cycling happen very often. Studies by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission gave startling figures: up to 4 people over 10 years are involved in an ATV accident are children under 16 years.
The main rule is safety first-year learning to ride an ATV or Dirt Bike before hitting the open air. The responsibility for properly train a child to ride an ATV or dirt bike rests with parents. The young should be supervised at all times when you are out of the machine of the road.
The U.S. law does not allow mountain biking on freeways and children should never be permitted to drive when there is traffic. Young children should not be allowed to conduct any off-road vehicles, which is a major cause of serious accidents. Is good practice to complete a pre-check before using your ATV or dirt bike. Riding on the road can be fatal. Make sure that children never goes without a helmet, gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Sense, it is prudent not to do with the team the protection of other activities as the father of artistry – because the necessary equipment for safe driving on cross bikes and mountain bikes are designed with this goal in mind.
Bikes and ATV are specific to age and size specific to older people are advised to purchase and improve motor function in the child's age. There is no rule about what age a child should be riding an ATV or dirt bike, but will not make a child of 4 years on a 110cc bike or a 50cc dirt bike. A time of 4 children's 70cc ATV packs enough punch to an adult about pleasure. Fortunately, most youth ATV and cross bikes are equipped with safety controls such as:
A regulator speed determines the maximum speed as low as 5 mph
A cable from the CAP, which allows an adult to run with the young shoot to kill the engine (depending on great for very young riders)
A remote control that can kill the engine by simply pressing a button on the feet to 200 (ideal for keeping small children couples under supervision)
As always jump to the question, how young a child can ride a bike? Since each child is different, depends of each parent to decide what age a child can climb this mountain bike or dirt bike.
Remember that child on a bike is certainly vulnerable. Collision off-road vehicles can be great fun and a workout in good health. To reduce the risk of injuries, good training, constant monitoring and following manufacturer's instructions, are a necessity.
